domain history
The domain euro-ka.de was registered on the 28th of May 2005. The main reason for this was that the story of Eurocontrol in Karlsruhe seems to come to its end, as the contract between Eurocontrol and DFS (Deutsche FlugSicherung, the German air traffic control provider) has been cancelled for the 30th of June 2007. The contact between old colleagues have always been very good, and we hope that these contacts shall be kept active also after the departure of the last Eurocontrol staff from the centre. The hope is that this domain will serve as a link between old collegues when the present contact point in Karlsruhe has disappeared.web master
The domain belongs to Sven Starlander, who is presently still working in Karlsruhe. Presently also all the web site has been set up by Sven, and if you have comments and/or ideas for information you would like to find on this page, just drop me (Sven) an email. - 04/06 2005 - The design was modified. A template found at oswd.org (called "your place") was selected, and some basic texts were published.
- 29/05 2005 - A first version of the web site was published, with only the main frame work.
- 28/05 2005 - The domain was reserved, and the "under contruction" page activated.
